中華民國滑水協會去年舉辦2006年中華台北亞洲寬板邀請賽後，一年來承蒙行政院體育委員會、中華奧林匹克委員會、中華民國體育運動總會及台北縣政府大力支持協會推廣滑水運動，參與人數成績斐然，選手比賽成績進步，為促進我國與世界各國選手間互相交流切磋，精進技術，以及累積辦理大型國際賽事經驗。
今年比賽與去年稍有不同是增加〝寬板滑水公開組〞，藉由獎金的鼓勵，除邀請本地及海外滑水高手參賽外，更有亞澳洲好手於此次比賽中大展身手，目前已知已有韓國、日本、香港、泰國、新加坡等國好手報名參加。
讓全民近距離欣賞賽事，有助於滑水運動推廣，
體驗滑水所展現的力與美，
希望藉由舉辦比賽，
讓全民體驗與發掘滑水活動帶給民眾的快樂，
並在2009年高雄世運會一起為台灣的選手加油、打氣。

八、賽前練習：
若參賽者於報名時未無指定練習時間時，則由大會統一安排練習時間。

中午十二時至一時休息。

General Rules
規則
1. For
any category:
3 or less
riders enrolled :
The organizer
may cancel the concerned category.
如少於4人參加同一組別賽事,
大會有權決定取消該項目與否。

riders enrolled
The organizer may arrange all riders go to final on
Sun, e.g. riders might not be
required to attend on Sat.
如少於7人參加同一組別賽事,
運動員可能只須在總決賽日出現而不必進行初賽。
2. The
organizer may disqualify any rider (Novice/Intermediate) who
attempts to perform any invert (including any air 360)
whereas inside or outside the course.
初學組及中級組之選手在任何時間均不可嘗試做出任何凌空翻騰動作,
否則會被取消資格。
3.
The organizer may disqualify any rider who attempt to
perform any dangerous trick / action whether inside or
outside the course.
參賽者不可嘗試做出任何對其他人或設施構成危險之行為及動作，否則會被取消資格。
Scoring
Criteria 評分準則
：
a)
General: Each rider shall be allowed two passes
through the wakeboard course during which time he may
perform any routine he chooses. He will be judged on
subjective style categories, to arrive at a single combined
score.
Riders are
encouraged to perform a smooth flowing routine with a wide
variety of tricks. Each manoeuvre should be executed as
cleanly as possible and taken to its limit.
Boat (Scoring)
Judges: The Chief Judge will designate two to three Boat
Judges, to be seated in the tow boat, to score each rider's
routine.
通則：
每名滑水選手容許通過尾波航道兩次，以進行其自選的動作。評判會按照選手的花式類別而進行評分，然後歸納為一個得分。
對動作的評分，由滑水選手進入尾波航道開始，直至他離開尾波航道、第二次掉水、或完成他的疊波(僅限於總決賽)
為止。
大會鼓勵滑水選手採用多種不同類別的花式安排流暢的比賽動作。每項動作應該盡量清脆俐落，以求達到最佳表現。
船上(評分)裁判：
總裁判會委任2至3名船上裁判，在滑水船上為每一位滑水選手的整套動作評分。
b)
Scoring: Judges will award a maximum of 100 points to
each rider based on their overall impressions of the routine
performed. The judges will score each rider in each of the
following categories:-
Execution -
33.3 Points
This reflects the
level of perfection to which each manoeuvre was performed,
as well as the successful completion of the routine with a
minimum number of falls.
Intensity -
33.4 Points
This reflects how
big the moves were performed, as well as the technical
difficulty of the tricks executed.
Composition
- 33.3 Points
This reflects the
overall composition of the routine in terms of the rider's
ability to perform a variety of manoeuvres in a flowing,
creative sequence.
評分：
裁判會根據每名滑水選手整套動作的流暢度及難度以整體印象評分，最多為100分。
裁判會就以下範疇為每名滑水選手評分：-
動作
- 33.3分
此項目會計算每項動作進行的完美程度，以及整套動作可否在最少的掉水次數下順利完成。
難度
- 33.4分
此項目會計算選手所進行的花式的技術難度。
組合
- 33.3分
此項目會計算滑水選手對整套動作的搭配能力，評判會以選手動作的流暢度、創意度以進行評分。
c)
Calculation of Scores: The Average method of
calculating will be used. Scores from all categories of a
rider's routine are added together to produce a judge's
total score. All judges' total scores are then averaged to
produce a final score for a rider.
計算得分：
採用平均分方法計算。計分員會把每一名裁判對滑水選手在所有範疇的得總分相加，然後將全部裁判所給予選手的總分取平均值，便成爲一名滑水選手的總分。
